In Southern Sweden we hope for a white Christmas - every year. It would be so practically; a brisk walk at Christmas Day and perhaps meditating over the snow from the inside of a window with a cup of something warm to drink. Nice and comfortable. Mostly, no snow arrives at Christmas. It saves itself until the end of February - when it kind of heaves itself all over the landscape, causing big troubles. People cannot drive to work, mind you! Fits me well. Then I can stay home and take photos of it - and see it melt away after two days. Because after two or three days it often melts away - just to disappoint the kids again...
