A gleam of light in the dark
In January most things are rather timidly coloured - except for these bright red hips.
I have always loved it when the Hips and Hawes come out. I have an old recipe somewhere to make a delicious syrup from rose hips.
OK, when you find it, you could always share it with us on your blog. I have never heard of rose hips syrup, but it sounds sweet.
it's fab - I shall dig it out for you, and I know that my sister has it too!
